Bubble, the leading luxurious catering and events company, recently held an intimate and exclusive launch of Bubble Weddings at Banqueting House, part of the prestigious Historic Royal Palaces portfolio. Attended by luxury wedding planners, the event showcased a breath-taking, interactive and personalised gastronomic experience for the UK wedding industry. Bubble Weddings set the scene with a four seasons theme and collaborated with elite wedding brands to create a show-stopping scene. Following a bespoke canapés reception, a four seasons inspired Michelin star wedding breakfast was served to guests, accompanied by Champagne and wines provided by Jascots. Spring was represented with Beet dipped chicken parfait, baby shoots, herbs and flowers, tea salted edible filo page (featuring an excerpt from the poem, 'Spring Showers' by Audrey Haick. The page can be personalised with wedding vows, special messages or favourite love poems) while the Summer dish delighted with the exquisite King crab capellini, Oscietra caviar, gold. Autumn had guests talking with the Peppered Scottish venison loin, malted potato, carrot, vine leaf, gin spritz and finally Frozen Passion for Winter; Iced passion fruit meringue, frozen white chocolate mousse, candy floss, mango sorbet and almond macaroon, served with an edible ice glitter popper which diners popped at their plates. Under Banqueting House’s majestic Rubens ceiling, the scene was beautifully set by Wise Productions with state-of-the-art video mapping on the windows and a changing programme of ambient lighting. The four tables represented each of the seasons (Spring – fresh, Summer – romantic, Autumn – rich, Winter – celebratory) with their own individual colour treatments. Tablescapes featured stunning displays from renowned florist, Simon Lycett, , stylish stationery from specialists Intricate Creations, equipment and linens by Classic Crockery, Jones Hire and Just 4 Linen. The evening took a twist with surprise live entertainment from Private Drama, featuring a covert waiter, Florian, who delighted guests with a juggling display from the drinks trolley. Following dessert, guests returned to the Undercroft which had been transformed into a after-dinner speakeasy by Velvet Living. Private Drama continued the stylish entertainment in the form of live music from The Palace Avenue Band. Bubble served playful aperitifs including Smoked chocolate and whiskey cigars, Jaeger bomb gummi bears and Espresso martinis prior to guests departing for the night.
